NEDA WATERFALLS WALKSMap CLIFF PATH 30 minute walk to the waterfalls on a narrow cliff-hugging path
- The springboard to the Neda waterfalls is the arched stone bridge below Stomio. Close by, on the northern bank of the river, is the start of a cliff-hugging pathy that leads to a plateau above the mouth of the Neda where the river disappears into a tunnel.
- The path is uneven, muddy at times, rocky at others but there are some steps and even a handrail in places - although do not rely on this.
- Eventually, you will emerge at a crystal blue pool formed by a spectacular waterfallz. It is paradise for anyone wishing to swim but the water is freezing!
- Hidden around the next corner is a second pool and an, arguably, more impressive waterfall{ surrounded by romantically misshapen trees. This haven is reached by crossing the bridge over the crystal blue pool and following the small rocky path uphill to the right.
- You can also continue on this path along a narrow ledge on the side of the cliff to a small chapel and the hermit's cave|. This detour is not recommended if you suffer from vertigo.
