These gentle walks on relatively good surfaces have a reward at journey's end. Although the roads and paths chosen are seldom totally flat, they are aimed at anyone who enjoys an occasional weekend walk. There are plenty of places to rest such as benches, walls - even ancient stones - and all assents can be tackled slowly which is why we describe these walks as leisurely.
Undertaken together, especially in the evening as the sun is setting over the Ionian Sea, the Athena Temple and Fountain House walks are the perfect way to get your bearings and begin to understand your surroundings.
